Many people grow up without a clear understanding of money; what it represents, how to manage it, and, most importantly, how our emotions are tied to it. For some, money is a source of confidence and opportunity. For others, it carries a deep-seated fear of scarcity.
Take the example of someone who grew up in an environment where money wasn’t openly discussed. They learned from an early age that financial stability was something to be earned and protected, yet they never truly explored their relationship with it. They worked hard, always prioritising security, yet the fear of not having enough remained ever-present, shaping every decision they made.
Years later, they reflected on how much they wished they had confronted these feelings earlier. But instead of looking back with regret, a more powerful perspective emerged: the next 10 years start today.
If financial security is something you constantly worry about, take a moment to ask yourself:
We don’t have to let past experiences dictate our financial future. A new mindset starts with a single decision.
If this resonates with you, take a moment to reflect on your financial habits. Are they serving you or holding you back?
The next 10 years start now. How will you use them?
